Melanie J. Grimes, RS Homeopathic (NA), CCH, has been editing alternative medicine journals for over 15 years. She has edited Resonance, The American Homeopath, and is currently the editor of Simillium, Journal of the Homeopathic Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

Melanie has taught and lectured around the world and published numerous articles and books in the field of alternative medicine, especially homeopathy. She has been featured on radio shows, and is listed on the homeopathic timeline at wholehealthnow.com. She is an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University and is on the research board of the American Medical College of Homeopathy. Her publishing imprint, Alethea Book Company, is devoted to alternative medicine. Her recent books include: Cold Comfort Flu Relief and Dr. John Bastyr: Philosophy and Practice.

Melanie has traveled to Macedonian refugee camps with Homeopathy Without Borders, and spoken at the Robert Bosch Institute for the History of Medicine. Her other interests include writing screenplays and novels, raising alpacas, and rowing crew in any lake she can find. She lives in Seattle, Washington, with her husband and sons.
